Finding it hard to be a good Gnut Citizen.

I've been running Limewire since the days of 1.8 and I try to be a good Gnut Citizen but the longer I stay on, the poorer my results. If I log off and come back on I get great results for about 3 hours. I frequently stayed connected for 5 days and sometimes as long as 2 weeks trying to be a good citizen and find that elusive "center of the Gnut" without good result.

Although this is my first posting, I have been lurking and following advice for about a year. I am running v. 3.4.1 on a 600MHz PIII with XP pro and a MediaCom Cable connection. I share about 2000 files of a decidedly eclectic nature. It seems as though my provider must be limiting my Gnut-upload ability to 15 Kb/s as I never excede it. My uploads have no other problem. I just seem the get poorer and poorer search and download results the longer I stay on. What might I be doing wrong??

Trying to be a good citizen,

MPJ
