connection problem
 

I have Limewire 3.3.5 and whenever i try to connect the button is green for a second, but then turns red again. Please help (and I don't knw wht a firewall is-fyi)

First of all you should upgrade to 3.4.4, That button does not work now and it never will. LimeWire has to connect itself to the gnutella network there is no way to do it manually. And a firewasll is software that will not let freeloaders on to your computer. LimeWire gives you the option to force your IP adress through your firewall which enables others to get search results from you.
