Connections
 

I have just downloaded Lime Wire and I started downloading music. Everything was working fine for a while, but then i lost connection. My internet was still on and every time i'd go to file and then click on "Connect," it would connect for half a second or maybe a couple, and then just disconnect right away. If anyone knows about my problem, please answer. By the way, I'm an AOL user and I have Windows XP, so if that contributes in any way, please let me know

It would help if you enabled the Connection panel in LimeWire and told us if you saw any connections there and if they all said just "Connecting..." or if you ever see any connections that are connected for a little longer so LimeWire shows either "incoming" or "outgoing" as status.

Did you install any firewall or something similar that accesses your internet connection?
