no connection

hi, i'm running on XP & using a private wireless network. i can't connect to limewire. is there anything i should change in network settings? or is the gnutella network is blocked? if so, how do i check?

You have to open up port 6346 on your firewall. Have your network administrator do it if you have one.

I am having the same problem as well, but I have searched through my system and I cannot find anywhere to specify the port number. I am also running on windows xp, through a school network ( I believe). How can I find out if it is the school that is blocking it? Thanks in advance.
