connection troubles

I have had limewire and it has worked up until i downloaded the newest one and then it wouldn't connect after that....it would connect if u were on a while then disconnect but u had to wait forever for it to connect for just a few minutes. I have reset everything to try and get it to work...i changed the ports to 6346 and i also tried 6348 but neither worked...i wouldve left limewire to go to kazaa a long time ago except for the fact that i like how limewire is set up a lot better than kazaa. if there is any advice or anything that will work i am willing to take that chance. im not extremely knowledgeable about computers but i understand most of it so try as much as u can to help!

restarting your computer always worked for me. i have also found that you can connect easier from 7 to 11 PM.

So if you didnīt change the settings, check them Limewire might set them to default after the new installation, and if you didnīt install programs like a firewall, it might be the new Limewire version. Did you install the beta or the final? If you use the beta deinstall it and change to the final - the beta might be buggy.
