![]() just to check, i connected to the internet via my roommate's DSL earthlink service, and i experienced the same problem with Limewire. The status open opening the program is Red light disconnected, and when I try to force a connection via File/Connect, the Red light briefly glows Green for half a second, and then immediately returns to Red/disconnected. Incidentally, I checked, and with both connections (dialup/netzero and dsl/earthlink) the option to enable the Internet Connection Firewall (built into XP) is NOT selected. What am i doing wrong? Any advice would be extremely welcome and appreciated. Thanks! |
