New user can't connect
 

I just downloaded and installed Limewire. Prior to installation I uninstalled my firewall. (I read in this forum that it can cuase problems) Limewire has been running for about 3 hrs now and my connection tab is empty. Are there any changes that I need to make to my computer or the Limewire program to get a connection to a host or supernode thingy? I want to get this working then install my firewall again. Please Advise.
