Hi, i can't connect to limewire. i have windows xp and a 56 modem. i am connected to the internet but when i go to file and then click on connect but nothing ever happens and i can't search!

When you go to file>connect you are trying to force a connection. This almost never works. LW will start to try to connect when you start it up. You can monitor your connections by clicking on the connections tab at the top. Hope this helps.

thanks for your help. but i have since given up and switched to kazaa instead.
