disconnected/no files shared
 

internet logged on. limewire logged on. still says disconnected/no files shared. any suggestions??

do you allow limewire to connect for some time?
my limewire takes up to a minute to "connect". it looks for
the shared files for some time, and so forth...

also, have you any files to share in the default shared folder?
limewire may well just be telling you that YOU have no files YOU
should be sharing on the network....
have you run a basic search for say "metallica" or something like that to check whether you get results?

if nothing works out for you then you will want to consult with the experts again on this forum. w/o wanting to suggest problem causes you may not have and of which i know very little, it could all be firewall related, or something in that vain.
