Connection Problem Fix

I tried the fix that was listed on the forum by deleting the preferece file. It didn't work. So - I found that the following worked for me. I deleted JAVA and went to the website and reinstalled it. Haven't had a problem since.

Yes, its entirely possible that a fragmented version of JAVA can cause problems with LW. Good suggestion SoulSanctuary.

Could you be a little more specific what you mean by deleting JAVA. I just installed LimeWire for OS X and the search button isn't available...help!
