corrupted file message I keep getting a pop up box that something in limewire is corrupted and it asks if I want to send the file limewire/props to limewire.........what exactly is this and should I send the file ? |
It means that some remote host has screwed up while sending you the file and sent you data that you didn't want. It's not possible for LimeWire (yet, - maybe 4.0 will be able to do this) to repair the corruption. So you can choose between keeping the corrupted file or cancelling the download. In most cases I would keep the corrupted file because chances are the file will work anyway. |
