Can't Stay Connected... GAH!
 

I can't maintain a connection to Limewire for more than a few seconds at a time, not long enough to even complete a search. It also thinks it's disconnected a lot of the time. I tried deleting my preferences folder and re-enabling my we connection, but still no luck. Any thoughts?

I've tried deleting the preferences, turning off the automatic tips, and I still can't hold a connection for more than a few seconds. I'm on a school connection, but other filesharing programs have worked (painfully slow, but working). Any other suggestions?

BTW- I'm running Windows XP.

It's quite easy for your network admin to block gnutella. I suppose that's what he did. In that case you won't be able to use LimeWire.
