mac student cant connect
 

Ok, so Im a student and my friggin school has blocked most file sharing servers. But, I subscribed to Limewire when It was free and it was fine. Then I paid for it a few months ago and it hasn't worked since. Im running OS 10.2.8. If there is anything that might be blocking it on my end let me know. HELP! I think my subscription is running out, and I havn't even used it once! I also tried the delete the preferences trick, it didnt work for me.

First, you need to do some basic things to determine if your problems are related to 'simple' connection difficulties or whether you are having problems with the upgrade you probably made when you paid for the Pro version.

Tell us what message, if any, you receive...

Also, have a look at the

and

Alternate PORTS...

Both links are also down there in my 'sig'...

Once we have 'eliminated' the more simple stuff, we can narrow down the possible problems you are having...
