connection problems
 

I am using Windows XP and have the latest version of LimeWire Pro installed. I have been able to connect once, but not since. I have tried re-installing, removing the folder from my documents, I have confirmed that I can connect through port and have tried downloading the programme again. What am I doing wrong? I have ensured that my firewall is enabled to accept Gnutella, and that everything else is in working order. It must have been to be allow me to connect to the system once, musn't it? Any help would be much appreciated, if only to keep my son quite.

Was it a new and first-time install of LimeWire or an up-grade ?
Have you been able to run any other p2p 'client' using the same computer and Internet Connection ?

First time install of the latest version, and I have been successful in downloading from other sites using the same ISP and connections. I have already downloaded once from LimeWire, but cannot seem to get it to work again.
