 Hi there the problem persists. I now disconnected the AIRMAC and went straight into the internet (conntected by cable)– no change at all. The search still does not get me anywhere. What I don't understand is on how the firewall could be turned off. I ticked the firewall button off (system preferences - sharing - firewall), hence it is off – but I was told there is a 2nd firewall installed but I have no idea on how to get rid of this barrier. I am starting to think that I have ticked somewhere some button which I should not have... and that it can be resolved easily. Wow, I thought this whole file sharing was a rather straightforward thing - anyone some experiences with other/better providers than Limewire?  |
