Can't connect from 'user' account only 'admin' Attempting to set up LimeWire 3.8.8 for my teenage daughter on Windows XP Pro. Works fine from 'administrator' account, but not from any 'user' account (my daughter's or mine!) - just shows 'Quality:Disconnected' status. For obvious reasons I don't plan to give my daughter 'administrator' rights! Norton Internet Security 2003 firewall in use, I have followed the instructions given for port and javaw.exe rights - and firewall is active for all accounts, so I don't see any difference there anyway. Likewise can't see that 'parental controls' could be stopping it - my own 'user' account has that switched off and I can't connect from that either. What else could be stopping this? TIA, Steve. |
