new to limewire, can't connect. hey, i need help. i've installed the program, run through the firewall troubleshooting & set ex/internal ports to 6346, etc... does not connect. thanks. jasontoronto. |
Have you tried testing Port 6346 ? Click on the Port :6346 - Test If It Is 'Blocked' in my 'sig' below... Also, we need more info... Computer type Operating System Internet Connection type Are you connected via a school system Any 'hardware' between your computer and your internet connection What version of LimeWire Is it an upgraded LimeWire or is it a new 'fresh' install Have you changed any other software or settings etc.,etc. ??? |
further info have tested the port, windows xp, roger's hispeed internet provider, no other hardware btn computer and net, downloaded limewire yesterday (was the most uptodate w/o charge). when i select "connect" from the file menu, the red light in the bottom left hand corner turns green briefly and then resumes red. that's about all i know. thanks. jason. |
