Important Notice! LimeWire Has Lied!!!

LimeWire Has Lied To You! I have purchased LimeWire Pro and I have gotten no faster results by my purchase. I am a Verizon mobile wireless customer and they do not block Gnutella by "Firewall"! I have tried to download so many things and as of two (2) months ago I have only been able to download five (5) downloads and am still waiting for others. I am a person who loves to value his purchases but I am sorry to say that I made a mistake. I have tried to ask tech support the vital questions that would make my endeavors successful but they always say "I need to know more about your (OS) and your problem". I hope that I will be added to LimeWires' reviews because I would give it two thumbs down. If any of you feel the same way as me and would like to express the same way that I do then please E-Mail me at: private information...edited...read the forum rulez and we will work together to tell them how it is and hope that they will give more to customer satisfaction.

I'd be interested to know if LW lied, but all I can understand from your post is that you risk libel.

You say LW is not faster--than what?

Frankly, sounds to me like you have a Verizon Wireless problem. Why don't you reduce your risk, edit your thread topic to something more informative and less risky, post your specs, and maybe someone familiar with your set-up can offer some suggestions. Obviously Pro support hasn't been able to figure out your problem, so maybe someone here can help with your exceptional situation.

Connection Problems

Let me elaborate a little more beings all of you want to clown my dissatisfaction..... I am a Verizon Wireless customer and I have downloaded the LimeWire Pro program in attempts to get those "Turbocharged" downloads and searches that LimeWire claims. I have deleted my preferences and asked Verizon about blocks on Gnutella, Verizon said that there were no blocks and I have had no positive results. I have tried to download alot of things and I never have any connection better than "poor". All that I want to do it be able to download what I would like to, even if it takes 16 hours to do, that's fine. I would just like to enjoy the $18.88 purchase of LimeWire without and problems. Pure and simple, I would just like my connection to remain "Turbocharged" and be able to complete the downloads that I request.

Pure and simple. After three requests for system details, you haven't provided them (if you are on a MAc I might be able to help troubleshoot).

Are you a troll just yanking our chains?

Stief:

Thank you for your attempt to solve my problem, however, I do not have a Mac OS. I have a Windows XP Home Edition OS. Do you know anything about that? Your assistance would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.

P.S. I have a modem connection through Verizon Wireless Mobile Office and I have 512 RAM.

Mobile wireless, modem, and XP--way beyond my limited expertise.

Frankly, I'm amazed that you were able to download anything with any p2p app.

Are you going to edit your thread title? It is very misleading.

Verizon Wireless

I also have Verizon Wireless internet pc card and I can download, depending on the # of hosts per download at @40kbps for 3 to 4 simultaneous downloads. And only with strong connection and not in the middle of the day. In Miami.

Thats a pretty old thread you replied to:confused:. Your connect probably drops off during the day because of high internet traffic. Connection speed depends on several things and internet traffic is one of them. Also your connection speed, the upload speed of the sources your d/ling from, the quality of the sources, how you have LW setup ect.
