Unable to Connect using OS 9.1

Sberlin, I downloaded & installed the free 4.0.2 version of LW & ran into the exact same probroblem. I opened up the err.txt file & got this message:

A nonfatal internal JIT (3.10.106(MRJ)) error 'chgTarg: Conditional' has occurred in :

Appears to be some sort of java error which is over my head as I am not a comp geek. I was going to run DiskWarrior. Now it looks like I'll just have to sit back & wait for you guys to figure out a fix for us OS 9.x users if there is one.

Purchasing one of the OS CATs (Panther or Tiger is not an option for me at this time.

That is why I appreciate all the developers who still work of products for us users still using the older OS systems.
