losing connection

When I am using Limewire I am losing connection after one hour or so. What do I have to do to keep the connection?
When the connection is lost I have to reboot my pc to get back online. I am using win 98se, adsl connection and zone alarm firewall.

If you know the answer please let me know..

LOSE OF CONNECTION AFTER ONE HOUR

I WISH I KNEW LITTLE MORE ABOUT YOUR SYSTEM. WHO IS YOUR ISP? HAVE YOU DUMPED YOUR INTERNET CACHE? IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO THIS CONTACT YOUR ISP AND ASK THEM. IF YOUR JUST ONLINE LISTENING TO THE RADIO OR SOMETHING DOES YOUR SYSTEM LOSE IT'S CONNECTION WITH YOUR ISP? I CAN TELL YOU WHAT I HAD TO DO WHEN I WAS EXPERIENCING THIS PROBLEM. I HAD A TELEPATH MODEM THAT CAME WITH MY SYSTEM ABOUT 3+ YEARS AGO 56K. I HAD TO GO OUT AND FIND MY MODEMS WEBSITE AND SEE IF THERE WASN'T AN UPGRADE DRIVER FOR IT AND THERE WAS. I DELETED MY CURRENT MODEM DRIVER AND DOWNLOADED THE NEW WIN/98 UPGRADE. I AM RUNNING WINDOWS MELLENIUM AND THERE WASN'T A DRIVER FOR THAT PERSE, BUT JUST A 98 UPGRADE. I DOWNLOADED IT AND IT WORKED. I ALSO DELETED GLOBAL.ORG IN AMERICA'S ONLINE SOFTWARE 6.0. IF YOUR ON A MODEM YOU NEED TO INSTALL THE LATEST DRIVER POSSIBLE AND MAKE SURE YOUR INTERNET CACHE IS DUMPED AND I WOULD ALSO SET YOUR CACHE HIGH AT SAY 150MB FOR LARGER FILES, BUT MAKE SURE YOU CLEAR IT REGULARLY.

You could try to set your ZoneAlarm security level to medium

This used to happen to me too.
I also have win98se, adsl(verizon), and use zone alarm.

I limited the upload speed to 10.5k a second and it hasn't happened since. Don't ask me why it worked, but it did.
