All of a sudden when i try to start limewire, this black window comes up....

I restarted my computer and everything how can i get it to go away and work agian? Thanks!

I am having the same problem. I have already spent hours downloading music though. Is that all gone?? How can we get it to work?
I didn't have this problem until I shut my computer down for a while bacause it was slowing down. When I came back it would no longer let me on. Please someone help us!!

It is me again, but i found it on my computer and you may be able to as well.

Go to start then search type LimeWire I then clicked on a folder icon that just said LimeWire it took me to another folder. i opened that one and got a list of files. Look for the one that says LimeWire.jar that took me right to it.

I am sorry my instructions might not be very technical, but i am not a computer whiz. I just do anything I can to find what I need or fix a problem. It may take me a few hours, but I eventually figure it out.

Try downloading and installing the latest Java version (1.5 beta).

I took the LimeWire.jar file and posted a shortcut to my desktop. I haven't had any more problems with it.
