Connection problems
 

Hello all,

I am running Win 98 and am operating Limewire 4.0.7 and cannot seem to connect.

I have in the past operated Kazaa, kazaalite, and napster on this machine.

My antivirus is Norton and I use DSL.

I have gone through all of the tips on the board and tried them all, and nothing has worked.

If someone could help me out, that would be grand.

I am a little rusty on Win 98 but try going to control panel, open Java, select "Browser" and uncheck IE and Netscape. Reboot & try.

If that didn't work uninstall and reinstall Java.

I run two versions of Java, 1.4.1_04 for my browser and 1.3.1_04 for other applications.

maybe you should think of using an older version since your OS seems to be pretty old
