![]() I thought "upgrading" to the "Pro" version would help...I was VERY wrong. Every single time without fail I connect, start downloading files, within a minute or so my entire computer locks up, and I loose my internet connection. Why is this consistently happening?? As I said I upgraded to “Pro” because this was happening with the “free” version. Anyone else have this problem? What have you done to fix it? Thanks for the help. c. |

![]() If you are still having problems with LW Pro I suggest you try updating your JAVA drivers. I had exactly the same problem with MORPHEUS. I thought it was all the PU Ads. Since there is absolutely NO SUPPORT whatsoever for Morpheus other than continual redirection to a very lean FAQ page or chatrooms I decided to gamble on Morph PRO. I got rid of the ads but the CPU bogged down when I tried to DL more than 2-3 files regardless of size and speed. Even with Morph Pro there is NO SUPPORT. I have used SoulSeek for awhile but the DL speeds are incredible slow because the UL addresses usually set their UL to something rediculously low and you have to im them to boost. I heard about LW and decided to give it a try. I have had no problems at all with the free version but I noticed that I had to update the JAVA drivers when I installed the package. I run on XP and found out that XP Pro doesn't support JAVA directly--You have to DL and install it yourself. They don't mention that until you can't open any sites / apps / etc. that require JAVA Applet capabilities. I guess this is all a long-winded way of saying that you probably need to update your drivers more often. |
