Default Limewire closes right after opening

I have Windows XP and I was able to download Limewire fine, but when I open it, it stays open for only a couple of seconds before it just closes. Right before it closes it says (disconnected/ no files available) on the top of the Limewire window. I don't know why it's doing this and I uninstalled it and installed it again but it's still doing it. Could it be because of a firewall? When I try to configure my firewall under network connections, I set the IP address to 127.0.0.1 but after I click "ok" it always resets itself. Is my problem even connected to my firewall? Please help.

Try the latest beta, 4.1.3. Tell your firewall to allow "LimeWire.exe" and the address "localhost".

I downloaded the 4.1.3 beta version of limewire but it still isn't working. I'm a little confused about the last part of your advice. I went into network connections under the control panel and went to advanced and settings and then I added "Limewire.exe" and set the IP address to "localhost" but you still need to fill out the external and internal port numbers. I put 6346 like it says to in the connection problems on the limewire support. Is this what you meant? Does anyone have any ways of fixing this?
