 FIREWALL - HELP WANTED ?! I have been using Limewire behind my firewall and it seems ok, but am wondering if it is affecting my performance. I have a NETGEAR router/firewall.  While I use PORTMAPPING for other applications, I never used PORTMAPPING for LIMEWIRE. Should I? And if so, what port? Also, do I need to push/force IP? Again, if so, which? I have a private IP (static within my own home network so I can port map to my pc). Should I use this one? A little help.... Don't be afraid to respond to my email address.  |
