Angry connection problems

I am not able to connect. I tried quite a few things but failed. I am using a pc that is connected to a lan(it a schoo i am in) and not quite sure if there is any firewall. The only info i have abt the connection is by tyipng winipcfg showing ipaddress adapter address... Can i do anything about it?

I guess the 1st thing to do would be to test for firewall affecting LW's connection. Tell us what your tests showed (true/false.) More than likely your school will have a firewall, but u still might be able to gain access past it. But then maybe not, some schools deliberately try to block p2p use thru their networks.

Unhappy

It said FALSE. Just tell me what i could possibly do about this. I don't think so they deliberately blocked p2p ( it's an Indian school, they don't give a damn. The person in charge is a friend of mine. i checked out a few things ..

The pc i use, uses win98. The server i think is using win2000. I am not sure this info is relivant or not. we are using a ISDN connection....Just tell me how to proceed.
