connection problems
 

i think my campus may be behind a fire wall. is there any way to check for this, and can i get around it?

If you're sure u don't have a firewall turned on (eg-Windows own firewall), then do this test as listed in the following thread: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=26886 If your results are False, then you most likely are behind a school firewall. Many schools specifically target p2p softwares to prevent them being used. I'd suggest yo make good friends with the school's comp tech & see if they can get u thru.
