It just won't connect, PLEASE HELP!!!
 

I'm new to downloading music off internet, have just installed limewire but can't get it to connect... keep clicking file and connect but nothing at all happens! Have tried a few of the suggestions here but no joy, please someone help me!!

here are all the things I can think about you probably tried some but I don't know which ones so
1try getting the latest version of java and 2than make shure there isn't any parental control,
3also make shure you are not connecting through your school, they have a tendancy of blocking p2p networking.

5if that doesn't solve the problem tell us if you have a firewall, a proxy, or windows service pack 2
