 I think you may have over-reacted initially. People's connection quality varies. If it should go into the red (see image below) & only showing one red bar then you might not be able to dwnld. You need at least 3 green bars showing to do a search. Also, when you 1st open LW, it's best to let LW settle down for a few mins after the old incomplete files have loaded. If it still shows disconnected, go to LW's menu File & select Connect. Also depending on your internet connection type, check your prefs/options. Go to LW's menu Tools-Options & Connections & tick the Connect on Startup option.  |
