i cant connect no matter what i have done plz o plz someone help me

please someone help me i have done every thing and then some to get lime wire to connect but it still wont
the music is downloading but it is not connected so i can't search plz someone help me i cant chat or do anything this is getting so irritated i use to be able to connect for a short while at a time but now it does not connect at all
