Default can't connect? try this it worked for me..

"before" starting limewire disable windows firewall and zonealarm (i have) or which ever you have then start lw let it connect get at least fair or better. then go back turn on firewall(s) mine goes to turbo in about a minute and bounces between excellent and turbo. tried everything else on this site that was suggested to no avail, dont know why this works but its working fine here. now another problem has arisin, when it says "need more sources" and you click on it (find more sources) it freezes system for about 10-30 seconds, click one at a time or it will hang forever. anybody know why? i have lw 4.0.8 the last one lw4.0.5 never did that.. ohh well get one thing fixed and up jumps the devil....if it helps, reply, maybe some of these connection gurus can figure this thing out. have also done this before turning off firewalls, when lw just sits and says "trying to connect" click file disconnect power off modem for about 10 seconds turn it back on let it do what it does then file, click connect. it was still slow but it connected. but turning off firewalls thing seems to work best.
