Default Damn limewire wont connect

I have limewire pro. I think limewire is the worst p2p server on the planet. I have tried everything, diabled firewall, fixed ports. everything. It will connect on start-up and then it disconnects after about 30secs. Someone please help me.

Spec.

Windows XP
Service pack 2
McAfee Firewall disabled
Windows firewall disabled
dont know what else to do.....

Pro users are entitled to Pro support . . . try there

btw--since you can't connect, something is blocking your connection to the gnutella network. In other words, it's probably not a LW problem.

Since you've compared to other p2p apps--why don't you just use those? You're one of the unfortunate ones: did you know more than 600,000 are connected right now?

Why bother trying to contact Pro support, they simply dont reply to questions.
In other words you (and I) paid for nothing!!!!!!

LOL--yes, I don't bother much with Pro support ($20 of tech support gets you what? maybe 15 minutes with most companies? Waste of LW development funds if you ask me).

Anyway, I support Pro to help the developers keep on developing, and I've found the free support from users like ourselves offer is pretty good.
