I am having trouble configuring it....
is there someone who can help??

Are you using LimeWire 1.4? If not, I would strongly recommend upgrading. You can determine your LimeWire version by selecting "About" in the Help menu.

If you are using LimeWire 1.4 already, I would simply suggest trying to download search results with 4 stars as frequently as possible. Results with 3 stars may work, but it is unlikely that you will have success with search results below 3 stars.

Thanks....I tried 4 stars and they work sometiems and teh same with three....
I will just have to hack some more with the program

I just wanted to mention that the sooner you try to download from a four star search result, the more likely it will be that you will get the file.

This is because a four star result means that the person returning the result has upload slots available and is not firewalled. If other users try to download from them, however, they may fill any available slots. Thus, the sooner you try a four star search result, the better your chances of getting the file.

I am running WinNT 4.0
I believe I have put all the relevant information in correctly but when I try and download info I am still getting that waiting and then it times out after 3 tries...

I will try and look for 4 star downloads....
but does this mean I will never or very rarely download successfully anything but 4 stars....

It is possible that results with fewer than four stars will work -- three stars are quite likely to download successfully. Four star search results are simply far more likely to succeed.
