At what point does it start dying. Do yo have many forced resume files? The reason I ask this is b/c these files have the potential (if thre's many of them) to affect your conection quality. They will all initially queue up, take turns at searching for resources every few mins, etc. All this constant searching puts stress on upld capacity. Just b/c your connection is in the red doesn't mean you necessarily can't continue dwnlding though!

I notices you'e created 3 posts about the identical problem so I've combined them. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/announ...?s=&forumid=29

The patch is a program that updates your OS on your hard disk drive.

Not having your original installation disks sounds a bit suspicious. It depends on what you wanted to install & whether you missed anything that was beneficial.

If you've forced resumed files which can be recognised with statuses of: Force resume: Waiting #s for Sources, ends up as Awaiting Sources. Normal: Need More Sources
So if you have any of those, I'd suggest you delete them (make a note of them 1st) from your download window (below the search window only) & then search for each one individually & select to dwnld again. If you've chosen the same one it will continue from where it left off. Don't select too many at once to search & dwnld.
