 Where did you dwnld the program from? Here?: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml If you're gong to re-install it, install a later version of Java 1st. Otherwise it'll ask to install Java 1.3 when it's better to use Java 1.4.2 (click on link) Did you configure your Symantecs Norton AntiVirus Auto-Protect properly.
