can't connect :(
 

I have not been able to connect to limewire. It just says connecting. This computer is connected to the internet through a router. Could this be the problem? And if so, what is a solution?

I deleted your previous post (the one you made as a guest) as it was the exact same one. (no need to ask the same thing more than once: it's in the rules)
As for your problem, it would be really helpful if you could specify:
-your OS
-your LW version
-your Java version
-if you have any firewalls
-if you have a router
-if you are trying to connect from a school dorm or from work
-which "remedies" from this forum have you already tried
