| This seemed to be the right forum so please excuse me if this is not the right forum. I installed LimeWire 4.2.6 today. During installation, the only significant thing that happened was that i had to install the Java 2 RunTime Environment prior to installing LimeWire. Everything installed fine. However, when I opened LimeWire, after the loading screen, the "Upgrade to Pro" screen, and Tip of the Day screen, the program shuts down and the browser closes within seconds. There's nothing I can do about it! Are there any programs conflicting with LimeWire? I'm running Windows 2000 Professional. Help? Last edited by hannaxbear; December 27th, 2004 at 12:33 AM. |
