alright i already set up my ip address but i cannot get to the first step. i put my ip address in the bar on internet explorer but it just says cannot find server...

It would greatly help if you could tell us what brand & model no. of modem/router you're trying to port forward. We migh t be able to find some specific instructions with any luck! :) ;)

Check this following link for instructions. 1. You will 1st need to set up a static ip : http://www.portforward.com/3com/3C857.htm & then 2. Forward a port using Port 6346

3. Force ip within LW: Force IP instructions & sample image

4. If you are using windows may I recommend you update your Java to Java 1.5 (take the JRE)
