I have had Aol 9.0 and Limewire for a while. Now I cannot get connected to Limewire. The icon is still there but wont connect. Husband is desperate and I am mad because I pay a monthly fee to download music and cant anymore.
Could be something to do with McAfee firewall but not sure.
I have been pulling my hair and everyone's elses to solve this problem.
Please help me anyone.

Try turning your fire off then try again all your firewalls but dont forget to turn it back on. if that works you mwill have to go into your firewall to alolow limewire.also try your control panel and deliete limewire and then reinstall it just look up limewire.com and under support click on need to download limewire.good luck

I hope you mean that you pay a monthly fee to AOL...Limewire only has a one-time charge of $18.88 USD.
