1.6d and firewalled?

I just d/l 1.6d and can't connect behind my firewall. I tried all connection configurations but nothing seems to work. Is there a way around this??

If you cannot even connect to the Gnutella network, you need make sure that your firewall thinks it is "ok" to have JAVAW.EXE access the internet. What firewall software do you use?

If your firewall software is configured properly but LimeWire gives you error messages, such as incoming port not found, you should try this alternate version:

http://www9.limewire.com/download/LimeWire16d118.exe
