No luck connecting

I have spent (what feels like) an eternity looking through the threads in this category and tried all suggestions but cannot connect. It actually connected once long enough to download one song and then won't connect again.

Am using XP, Limewire 3.6.15 connecting via DSL.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How long have you let it try to connect. it takes LW about 15-30 minutes sometimes longer. also might want to think about upgrading your LW to 4.4 beta and your java also. You might want to read this link:http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=33059
