limewire can't search due to connection
 

can not search I tried leaving it connected for 1 hour and still the same message "search may not produce any results because limewire is not fully connected" am using dialup help me please

After opening LW, let it settle for 10 to 20 mins before doing anything. Also on dial-up, do not & I stress do not use the Resume function to try to get your incomplete files started. This function has side effects which can play havoc with LW's connection quality & use up all of LW's resources. Using the search function to find your topic again is the best & most effective way.

Some tips: A well set-up LW can start to automatically continue its dwnlding after it's settled down perhaps 2 out of 3 times you open LW. Optimising LW & Maximising Uplds & Dwnlds A (1st post only) & also Part B which is even better & last & least are search & dwnld hints. The latter one I've been thinking about re-writing for some time. That's just for playing it safe. eg- I show all speeds & qualities.
