NETZERO and LimeWire

I have Netzero and LimeWire will not connect. I have tried everything I have found here so far with No luck! How can I find out if Netzero is blocking and if they are, what else can I do?
I am getting very frustrated!

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I can't find any reports so far that netzero is blocking. But ... that's not to say they aren't blocking or filtering.

Did you try the suggestion in the Sticky above in this section?

Thanks for responding. Yes I tried that. No luck. No change at all.

Just got off the phone with NetZero. Couldn't get a straight answer if they were blocking/filtering p2p programs Or if they were blocking/filtering port 6346.

Geez they pratically want your first born male child to get any answers. They did finally get me through to there tech. support.

One person did't know, The other person said no they don't block or filter port 6346, but would investigate and call me back.

I'm not holding my breath:)

HAHAHAHA Thanks for helping out. I used to use LimeWire with AOL with no probs.

Also How can I find if my computer has Firewalls? (sorry if that sounds like a stupid question)

Thanks again!

Don't know for sure if this will work, but try doing the bug report in this link.

Also if you have any antivirus or internet security programs they sometimes have firewall.

I have Norton Internet Security which has a firewall and also WindowsXP sp2 has a firewall. (the later doesn't apply to you)

OK, I feel like maybe, just maybe we are gettin somewhere. I do have Noton Anti-Virus 2004, but how do I find out if it has a firewall and how do I disable it?

I'm really going out on limb here, because I'm not familar with your versions.

Try following the steps in this link. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=30505

Also did you try doing the bug report.
