Keep Losing Connection

Hi guys, im relatively new to this so I apologise if I sound dumb, I tried searching the forum for help with my problem but couldn't find any relevant info so here I am....

Anyway I keep getting a message on LW (about 3 times a day) saying that i dont have a valid internet connection, but my Connection is fine and I can still surf the net with no problems. I have to close down LW and reload it to get back on the network.

I am running windows xp sp2, on Broadband adsl 1mb connection via a netgear router.

I copied the bug report from LW if this helps.....

After you open LW, let it settle. Don't do anything. Leave it for over 30 mins. Then go back & see how it is. Is the connection quality ok then?

You share a lot of files & probably have lots of incomplete files which can take a considerable time to load. Doing anything with LW before its finished loading & accounting for them as well as trying to establish a connection with each incomplete, can give LW a few problems with connection quality, etc.

Particularly if you resume all your files. This can have a dramatic effect of LW's connection quality & use up all of LW's resources.

Yeah I always do Leave it to settle, but When my Connection was Staying connected it was always on, I only used to disconnect to perform Maintenence about once a week i.e defrag drive, ad scan etc....but recently it just disconnects for no reason!
