Won't Open limewire in mac
 

Hello,
I have a eMac OS X 10.3.8 and the newest version of Limewire. i believe it's 4.4.5 ? anyways i've had other versions and i've been using it for a long time now and all of a sudden it doesn't work. i've uninstalled and reinstalled several times and nothing... all it does is open up and bounce in the Dock for a little bit, then when it should be opening it just dissappears. the actual limewire never opens, just the icon bouncing then it's gone. I don't think i've tried it since i've had OS X 10.3.x
does that make a difference? I've also read many F.A.Q.'s and none of them answered it.

The 1st 2 things I would suggest are
1. Download & install the Standalone installer for Java: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macos...update142.html

3. Icon Bouncing in Dock
