connection problem solved !!!
 

after a whole week of trying to connect i stumbled across something which cured , it im on bt yahoo broadband and they give parental control as standard so went into settings turned off controls and hey presto full connection no problems easy downloads hope this helps someone out !!!

Mabey you would like give a more detailed description of what the problem was and how you fixed it. That way other people can learn from your experiences.

well i downloaded limewire installed it went to run program but it would start up show the main screen go to connect then freeze and just close !!!! so trying a lot of things checked firewall / norton / internet settings could not solve it !! it tried to connect show up then close so i tried disabling different settings to do with internet eventually i found my broadband supplier gives you a parental settings option much like adminastrator controls so i deactivated this and got full access and limewire was better than ever quick downloads so if people get problems maybe they should check full access controls hope this helps .....:D
