Default Connection problem and details

I have had limewire for about a month and it worked O.K till a couple of days ago.
I have attached the messages that came up.
The first thing I did was uninstall limewire and delete everything of it left. I then downloaded the latest version but still had the problem.
I went through relevant parts of my computer trying to solve the problem; I also looked through the limewire site. Nothing I tried worked.
I went on the connection problem page and followed the guide for Windows XP firewall. It didn’t work.
I have
Windows XP
XP firewall only
Broadband wireless connection
Limewire 4.6

Could someone please help me fix it, I’ve been through the forum and still don’t have a clue what to do.

I don't know where to find this information
Would the ISP be the homepage on Internet Explorer?
The one I have Limewire on goes to MSN but another computer goes to yahoo.

your ISP --- Internet Service Provider ---- Who you pay for your internet connection.

Your modem is how you connect to the internet. Normally for broadband it's external and connected by a USB or ethernet cable to your computer. It should have a type and model no.

I know why it doesn't work now.
We have Plusnet, my dad has told me that Plusnet doesn't allow programs like limewire or any other kind of downloading even just music.
This means I will not be able to connect or download from anywhere.
