Program will not launch.

I've tried to launch the program by the shortcut and through the start menu but nothing happens.

Then open it directly from the main program folder. If there's a problem with the shortcut then it will be the same with start menu also.

same problem

it doesn't work from the main folder either. i've uninstalled and reinstalled a few times and nothing happened. and someone in another thread told me to delete .limewire from my documents and settings. everytime i click on the icons it'll show a busy arrow but then 2 seconds later nothing happens.

Hmmm not sure but others have had similar problems. Some of them resolved the problem by either updating there video drivers, or rolling back to a previous driver.

They were having problems with the Radeon 800 series driver from ATI.

i don't know what card i've got or what drivers the computer is all new..had it for like 2 months.

i'm on an emachines M5312..winxphome

there's no way i could download the previous version is there?

Greetings BabyJ

If you go to start>contol panel>systems>hardware>device manager ----- It will list all the devices installed on your e-machine. You will find your video adapter there.

you can search(upper right) the forums for previous versions. There are several posts with links in them.

alright i'm assuming my video card is under the display adapters which would make it a Radeon IGP 320M...

Whilst continuing with fabion's answers can you consider a Registry Cleaner. If you don't have one, then get one here: Registry Cleaners After running the RC then reinstall LW.

Greetings BabyJ

Your video card (display adapter) driver may be the problem. It is a different series, but so is mine, and I have had some minor problems with it.

See this link. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=34408

LotR beat me to the button, but his suggestion is good, and will make your comp. run better.:D

k.. registry cleaner and reinstalling didn't work. i can't find the most previous version of LW in the forums like you suggested either.
