Maybe LimeWire 1.7beta will work. It has some new major bug fixes related to connection problems.

javaw.exe?????

Ok so I figured I would try the beta 1.7 to see if this helps my connection problem and it didn't. When I try to launch the program, I am asked for a javaw.exe file. I looked through the troubleshooting FAQ and changed my target to all the one's listed and nothing. Now what????

It sounds like Java never installed at all. Download it at:

http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/jre/

Then, try reinstalling LW. Uninstalling the one you already have put on your machine may be a good idea.
