 Try 1.7 beta Try the new 1.7 beta, a lot of problems including bad connections have been addressed in this new version. I'm happy with it, but I must say I never had many problems with the other versions. The new 1.7 has lots of new features and you can now chat with people who also have 1.7. Look for download in "LimeWire Beta Programs" top of the page in the Limewire forum. Happy connecting
